I just took a look to see what all the fuss is about.  I donwloaded the
latest datasheet a few minutes ago, which appears to be the same as what yo=
u
cited (2007, DS39599G).

While section 17.4.7 "Baud Rate" on page 181 doesn't explicitly show a
formula, it is nonetheless quite clear how the baud rate is generated and
therefore what SSPADD value is needed for a particular instruction clock an=
d
desired baud rate value.

Obviously:

             InstructionClock
  BaudRate =3D ----------------
                SSPADD + 1
