Just an idea: would it be possible to make a simple battery charger for NiM=
H
and Li-Ion batteries using a PIC and some adjustable linear regulators in
constant current arrangement? This should be the cheapest method since it
would only take a few cheap linear regulators and a PIC MCU (purpose of the
PIC is for proper charge termination, for example: negative delta V).
