That indeed is the case in this instance -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of Nathan House Sent: Thursday, February 17, 2011 9:25 PM To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. Subject: [EE] How to determine pin 1 on this IC? I'm trying to use a LM358 dual op amp IC and have a little problem; I don't know which pin is pin 1. I can't seem to get my camera to take a good picture of something this small, but it looks kind of like this: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1352/5179445393_b6b4d864e0.jpg. There's no circle by the first pin, and there's no notch at the top. Intuitively, it seems like with the text right-side-up (like in the photo) the first pin would be on the lower left, but I don't know for sure.. Any ideas? --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
