That would be either your mail server ("QK SMTP Server 3") or Outhouse..=20 sorry, Outlook mis-handling UTF-8. Thunderbird shows this in the View Raw Headers window: From: =3D?utf-8?Q?sean_alcorn_=3DE8=3D91=3D89=3DE8=3D8F=3DAF=3DE9=3D81=3D9C= ?=3D So {QKSMTP|Outlook} falls over instead of doing a proper UTF8 decode,=20 then assumes the From field is incomplete, and tacks on "@embedinc.com"=20 to turn it into a "valid" (but still completely wrong) email address. As much as it pains me *not* to take a dig at M$ in this case, it's more=20 likely to be an issue with the SMTP server... This makes more sense: the=20 SMTPD knows which domains it's handling mail for; Outlook generally doesn't= .. --=20 Phil. piclist@philpem.me.uk http://www.philpem.me.uk/ --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
