Basic aerodynamics is, greatest force would be a flat plate=20 perpendicular to the air flow, and round would be less. Other than that=20 it becomes complicated, with ratio of sides, skin friction, and other=20 factors. On a sloped roof, the windward side is inward pressure, and lee=20 side outward, but edges (eaves and ridge) cause turbulence.
