Samsung gets serious about white LEDs http://www.samsungled.com/eng/main/index.asp Datasheet dates are late 2009 so should be available. Note that LEDs with 6 leads usually use 3 die so voltage is about 10V, not about 3.3V. The top output single die and triple die versions are rated at about 100 l/W at about 1 Watt. Good but not stunning. Best available on market White LEDs at present give about 140+ l/W at 1 Watt. eg Cree X-ML - good for about 5 Watt at full power with about 100 l/W at that level. Samsung are AFAIK relatively new to the LED field but I would expect them not to make junk. Odds are they will have acquired tecnnical expertise from one of the existing (relatively few) competent LED makers.
