It's a good idea, though value may be far too high. 100 Ohms to 1kOhm=20
depending on IC spec.

If there is an interconnect cable, then putting 1/2 the value at driving=20
end and 1/2 at receiving end and suitably very small capacitors will=20
also reduce EMI out and in.
