Hi - this may not be sophisticated enough, but I've used "Copyto=20 synchronizer" for several years: http://www.kish-d.com/ to keep files on lappy and desktop in sync. You get to choose different=20 synchronization types, as in "make the target the same as the source -=20 deleting files on target as necessary" vs. "propagate changes on either=20 side to the other". It was shareware, I haven't updated it in 2 years, looks like it is free=20 now. It was a whopping $15. :) Actually there are a bunch of new=20 features, it is in active development, always a good sign. May not be sufficient, but take a quick peek.
