Sword a good 12th century (13th) replica property of my son. Slightly heavier than it should be so hard to wield well but real enough to be a very real weapon. Edge was blunted to MRS rules for fighting - something that is done with great ar so as to get maximum realism and minimum dead participants. So, yes, people would have had a right to be scared of the sword. but nobody seemed to notice.
