> Suitable for EE Note that being asked to move a discussion to [OT] is NOT to cast aspersions on the poster or the posted material. It's simply a procedural matter. You can usually tell when bob is trying to make pointed comment on the merits of a post :-). ________________ I sympathise with the EE/OT uncertainty. The/a problem is that while the idea of a product being able to shield or not sgield a user has an EE basis, the overwhelming bent of such things is their quackery, and the result is that the discussion rapidly changes to types of quackery, determining quackery, defining quackery, profiting from ... . ie the EE content is almost invariably rapidly lost. The idea of EE is to provide a good honest hands apple pie and motherhood on electronics you can build yourself arena. this is to provide a suitable buffer for the holy* [PIC] subject so that the purists can bask there in untroubled bliss. While some (and I) may not mind too too much about the wandering of some quackery discussion into EE it does mean that before long you have to herd a madding throng out into OT. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
