Hi all. I have an external portable hard drive that I'd like to setup two partitions on. One will be used backup a Mac computer using a disk cloner. The other partition will be for general storage and exchange with Windows based computers. If I set it up so that the drive uses a GUID Partition Map (instead of Master Boot Record), then a Mac based computer would actually be able to boot off the clone partition. If I use MBR, then that isn't possible. What I'm not sure about is if a Windows based computer would be able to see a FAT partition if it exists on a GUID drive. Any thoughts? Thanks!
