It's good enough to test coils for=20 high VHF frequency. if Electrolytic capacitor is leaky it may show up on the multimeter=20 based tester (only does 1nF and larger, the AADE etc is much more=20 accurate and useful to fraction of a pF) as very high value. Also I may=20 connect up bench PSU and see what current there is.
