The old man reacts... Sometimes a nerve is touched and even an old guy who just wants to get=20 along finds it necessary voice an opinion. I realize that you are young fellow and your vocabulary is shaped by=20 your college environment but I have come to expect better from you. Your=20 use of the vernacular negated anything that you may have intended to=20 say. In times past one grading papers would have red-inked this as "WC"=20 or "word choice". We all say something occasionally that we wish we could recall so don't=20 take offense but do note that rather than just ignore it I took the time=20 to offer my reaction. If you had sent this to me, I would have borrowed a line from=20 Shakespeare: "It was from my salad years when my judgment was green" I am compelled to repeat-- I have come to expect better from you.
