I find it strange there > would be absolutely no change though. Hi Josh, I don't know that unit, but I would look for the problem fairly close to the output jack, circuitry-wise. The output buffer, or some fusible component in the output attenuator switch circuit, or power supply for the output buffer. I have a Wavetek function generator that has a fuse right before the output attenuator and it died one day for seemingly no reason, with similar symptoms to what you describe. High frequency edges would sort of make it out of the unit in pulse mode, nothing in sinewave mode.
