The results of my rough temperature testing

6 hours @ -15C lost 8 minutes (about 1% slow)

6 hours @ +45C gained 10 seconds

So there ya go. Interesting. What you say is largely true then. The
typical clock is probably optimised for the habitable ambient range

Made in the many many many millions I'd expect they'd all be much
of a muchness
