If the specs don't convince you I can't guess what will.

I guess you once crossed a highway without being hit, so you will=20
continue to do that?

IIRC you quoted the right resistor values but the wrong currents, so=20
your circuits will work, but others that base their deign on the current=20
you mention will fail :(
