What are your experiences designing and testing battery packs for UL
approval, including charger, protection, etc?

I am under the assumption that li-ion and li-poly batteries have more
strict standards due to volatility when over charged and discharged -
is this true, or is it just as difficult to design and pass NiMH and
NiCd packs?
