Having problems redirecting x session to a redhat linux client from tru64 client. I can redirect x sessions between tru64 hosts (using rsh then setenv DISPLAY host:0.0) I can redirect x session between redhat hosts (using ssh -X) I can redirect x session from a redhat to a tru64 host. But a redhat host refuses to accept an x session from a tru64 host. I am unable to ssh -X to a tru64 hosts as our version tru64 version does not have ssh. I have tried googling but google just wants to return pages that show how it is done with ssh. I have tried many and varied combinations. I suspect it is a security setting that I need to over ride but not sure what or where. The network is a handful of hosts that are isolated from any other network. It is not possible to add any files/software etc to this network as it is isolated. The only input is via a keyboard and mouse and nothing else. As it is isolated, over riding the security setting to allow redhat to accept an x session via an unencrypted connection is ok. Any suggestions.
