As many will have, I've been misled by poor copies, poor printing
etc. 2.2k can turn into 22k so very easily

Wouter, me too. I grew up with UK-based publications, which
have used xRx xkx xMx for decades. Labelling should be clear,
and 2.2k isn't always immediately or persistently clear
