Generally complex systems that give instant gratification will be lacking i=
n
depth once you start to use them seriously.  Depth requires complexity,
which makes instant gratification difficult.  If additional features were
added just for instant gratification, then they often become annoyances onc=
e
you become a serious user.  In fact, a complex system that claims to provid=
e
instant gratification should be treated with suspicion.
