Just in case anyone is curious, I decided to take the course. It was delivered online, and we did the labs in a local copy of MPLAB. Overall I was very satisfied. This course isn't specific to a product family, so it was fairly generic in what we were working with. We didn't look at interrupts or chip configuration, and they offer separate courses for that sort of thing. All in all, I enjoyed it, and I feel a bit more comfortable dealing with C now. If anyone knows of any decent C (ideally Microchip C18) code that I might be able to look at and try to puzzle my way through, I'd love to see it. I will be looking at some of the Microchip offered code, but as they target it at multiple product families I'm worried I'll get a bit bogged down. Hope that helps anyone else who might be interested!
