Dissolve agarose b= y boiling, when it cools down to room temp, it will be solid and you will hav= e a test tube with reproducible bubbles in it. If the detection method can tol= erate higher concentration of impurities in water, then you can use food agar (2-= 5%), if lower concentrations of agar desired, use higher quality agarose (molecu= lar biology grade should do) and lower operating temperature. =20 Knowing method of detection of bubbles will help narrow down suggestions.=20 Sergey Dryga http://beaglerobotics.com --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
