FWIW the Mistral and other winds like it are claimed to containa
predominace of positive ions AND to cause negative effects with people
and animals AND Nimes is indeed at about the centre of where the
Mistral blows, so ...

:-).

And Denim is in fact, AFAIK, derived from de Nimes.
And Bleu Jeans from the same place based on died cloth from the region
- although that sounds more of a reach.

No satin from Nimes, AFAIK.
