In any case, I'm looking at about 0.6secs per disc track just to read=20 the data off the disc, plus however long it takes to poll the status=20 flags from the PC. Even if I had this thing tied to a USB High Speed=20 device controller (Cypress EZ-USB for example), it's not likely to go=20 much quicker...
