Except the Arduino is cheaper, faster, runs the host environment on =20 multiple types of systems, is fully open source, has a better =20 transition to "real" products, has a better transition to "real" =20 programming, uses a more currently popular language, is more portable =20 to new platforms, is more easily extensible, and is much more widely =20 available...
