re ACC, he was living in Ceylon when 'The Bridge on the River Kwai' was being filmed there. I could have sworn that he'd written somewhere that he was in the background in the hospital scene. Now I can't remember where I'= d read that, and I can't find it. I thought it was in 'The View from Serendip', but I just read through that. Has anyone ever heard that and/or know where it was written?
