I think it's a matter of style/opinion, and will somewhat depend on =20 the complexity of the application. I've used symbols with logical =20 groupings, and wished they had at least some clue about actual pin =20 positions, so that I could make arbitrary connections from io ports to =20 external devices in a way that would make sense from a pcb routing =20 perspective. And I've used symbols with pin-number ordering and =20 cursed the lack of logic. And I've used symbols that someone had laid =20 out using SOME logic that I guess made sense to them, but I didn't like!
