Actually I was thinking to cancel DD for landline an= d broadband hoping that I will have more control on what happens to my bills. The matter of fact BT did send me a letter asking me if I really would like to move to that other company -- but the default action is if I do not repl= y to that letter, then they do the transfer. Unfortunately I was on holiday b= y that time therefore had no chance replying to them. It should be the other way around to be honest, as if I really want to do that move, then I will put the effort on it replying to them confirming tha= t I really want to do that... Even if that was just a phone call from their call centre *before* the transfer and not after that... Maybe will talk to Virgin and Sky if they have a better protection against these dodgy companies.
