A friend says: Linear Tech have introduced a family of devices packaged as 6-pin SOT-23's = (and as DFN's if you have masochistic tendencies) called TimerBlox. These provide various simple timing-related functions. The family (designated LTC699x) currently includes the following members: LTC6990 =A0VCO (488 Hz to 2MHz) LTC6991 =A0uHz clock (period from 1ms to 9.5 hrs) LTC6992 =A0PWM (4 variants having different duty cycle ranges) LTC6993 =A0one-shot (4 trigger variants, each 1us to 34s) LTC6994 =A0delay (2 trigger variants, each 1us to 34s) All are based on an internal low-power oscillator =A0- and I think control = inputs are analog in all cases. Haven't looked at them in detail yet and being LT they won't be as cheap as= they should be, but potentially useful in all sorts of applications. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
