You'll note that a useful service life of 500 chg/dischg cycles
@ 90 days/cycle works out to ~ 123 years!

I'm somewhat dubious  about that :)  but have Eneloops in svc
three years now - The cells in low-drain apps (palmtops) show
capacity down less than 1% (as indicated by the Maha charger)
- Cells in high-drain app (single-cell AA flashlight, in daily use)
are down ~ 8% capacity.

Anecdotal quantities only, but think I'll buy some more before they
quit making them...
