I totally agree. The ICE2000 and ICE4000 are great debugging tools. We have one of each, and probably a couple dozen processor modules. Unfortunately Microchip doesn't make processor modules for new parts anymor= e because they don't want to bother with the bondout part. It's a real shame= .. We also have a few RealIce for those cases where a real ICE can't be used, but the debugging experience is not as nice or efficient. I'd happily fork over the cash for new processor modules if only they were available. The real ICE's are well worth their cost. For small projects the simulator is a good solution.
