This is exactly what I was talking about.  You can complain about others no=

following the standard or having bugs all you want, but it doesn't change
the fact your data gets mangled.  Standards after all aren't mandatory.
People follow what they think is in their best interest, not yours.

My point was that if you wish your message to be most reliably visible to
the most people, use plain text wrapped to less than 80 characters per line=
..
Your experience here actually proves my point.
