It turns out that Tim BL was one =20 of the original implementors of hypertext documents, back BEFORE apple =20 did Hypercard. But then, hypertext was apparently first envisioned =20 back in 1945 (!), and the first implementation of anything hypertext-=20 like was in 68. The "World Wide Web" is one of those things that combined a lot of =20 ideas and technology that had been floating around for a long time. =20 Even Gore's claims aren't without some merit, since it was that =20 administration that loosed control/access of the internet to private/=20 commercial entities...
