I don't know how many buttons The Xerox Parc project mouse had. I waited about 35 years for the computer they told us would evolve from their efforts (The "Dynabook") to finally come to fruition - and I'm extremely happy with my HP5101 which masquerades as a reasonably close equivalent to what they had in mind way back then. Fujitsu (AFAIR) did do a Dynabook range of notebooks starting some years back, but they did not at that stage match the original Xerox vision.
