Anyone used a PICKit2 to debug a 12F675?

I've got the right adapters, etc... but the thing skips past the breakpoint=
,
will go off single stepping on it's own after the C setup code and stop
responding, etc...

Just crazy.

Nothing at all plugged into the chip. Configured for internal osc, no wdt,
etc... Just PC -> USB -> PICKit2 -> RJ11 adapter, phone cord, to the little
debugging adapter with the special ICD chip.

Getting ready to regret having agreed to help with this project... I though=

TI's stuff was full of gremlins... wow...=20
