For me there is a reasonably clear distinction between "something it is=20
preferable not to do" and "something that is *not okay* to do.
In fact I would go as far as to suggest in some cases it is actually=20
preferable *to* make mistakes, and should be encouraged (e.g. whilst=20
learning)
