If we need a good reliable library best we evaluate the code itself. Trusting the app notes is not a wise thing to do. I do recall some of the app notes in Microchip are quite bad. Off my head was the EEPRO= M code itself...... I am now looking into AVR RC calibration app notes*AVR0= 53*.
