Fair enough, probably a few other random and complex factors involved in=20
the differences.
One thing pops to mind though - maybe I should have mentioned I have=20
Norton 360 running too, which although good seems to eat a lot of=20
resources. Out of interest, what anti virus are you using?

I'm thinking of dedicating a linux machine to firewall duties. Seems=20
like a good idea rather than running Norton on 5 separate machines. I=20
did do this a long time ago (~8 years) but not used Linux since really,=20
anyone any advice on doing this kind of thing?
