Afaict MS didn't charge any extra for the downgrade rights over what the=20
edition being downgraded from (vista buisness or ultimate, win7=20
proffessional or ultimate) would otherwise cost. Some OEMs did charge=20
extra for teh downgade media though

I belive the downgrades have now stopped for new machines they only did=20
so pretty recently so there are still machines in the distribution=20
channel that come with downgrade media.
