Actually, there are a lot of similarities, which have started becoming =20 more known since the Oracle-Google lawsuit recently. First, Android =20 dev in done in Java, so it should be a much easier port. But =20 apparently the java class files get converted into a slightly =20 different format of the same code to be run on Android. And =20 apparently the VM's (JVM & Dalvik) are almost identical.
