I only occasionally place Digikey orders from here in NZ - but have found them relatively good to deal with. What I'd like to see is a USPS option using eg Global Priority Express. Far cheaper than true courier and not vastly slower. That said, I find that Fedex incoming to NZ rocks. Items from China mainland, Hong Kong and USA come through often a day ahead of commitment date and, if it clears customs at the airport in the early afternoon it will probably be delivered to me the same day around 5pm. About 20 miles and a city width away. Last Fedex parcel was sent from Honk Kong at 3pm Hong Kong time and was delivered here two days later at 3pm. As we are 5 hours ahead, in absolute terms that's about1 day and 19 hours. Farnell delivery from Australia (2000 miles and an ocean away) used to be utterly superb but they changed their courier system and now it's just very good. Was order by 5pm+ and have delivered next day at 7am. Nowdays it comes in mid to late afternoon and somedays the following day.
