Hi guys, Are there any FTDI FT245R experts (or experienced users!) here? I've got a USB JTAG adapter on the bench. Basically it's an FTDI FT245R,=20 an Altera CPLD, and a pair of Texas Instruments level translators (it=20 converts down to 1.6V, then up to whatever the target voltage is). What I'm seeing is normal activity on RXF and RD# -- that is, RXF going=20 low, the CPLD pulling on RD#, a 1tcy delay, 8 data bits coming out of my=20 serial debug port (and appearing on my DSO's screen), followed by RD#=20 going high again. But even with a "checkerboard" (0x55 0xAA) or "all=20 toggle" (0xFF 0x00) test pattern, all I get from the output pins is a=20 solid 0xFF. Is anyone aware of any 'gotchas' with the FT245R (or its predecessors in=20 the FT245B series) which could cause this?
