Vegetables, bakery, and of course=20 early in the morning, the dairy man delivering glass bottles of milk.=20 And yes, the cream did separate from the milk. And in late summer, a truck going slowly with some one hollering "walla=20 melons, walla melons". Back then the world came to your door. Now, your door goes to the=20 world: Paypal, Amazon, Alibaba, ebay, etc. One of my shirt tail relatives had a morning "paper route" - delivering=20 the morning newspaper on a bicycle door to door to the subscribers. He=20 would look for people who also had dairy deliveries - they put a milk=20 bottle out with a note listing what to leave for the day. Milk, cottage=20 cheese, etc. He would add what he wanted and then go grab it before the=20 occupant awoke. Now days, they would be labeled terrorists or something... Ah, nostalgia. A pity it ain't what it used to be... --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
