It may very well NOT meet his needs. He wasn't very specific about what=20 he needs. He did say that quality, accuracy and calibration were not=20 important. To do simple comparison tests, as he stated, monotonicity=20 and repeatability should be sufficient. The CdS / Ohmmeter combination=20 would provide that. It is cheap and locally available, and would=20 provide good resolution. Is that good enough? Only he can decide=20 that. I just think he should have as many options as possible, then he=20 can decide what does or doesn't fill the bill. Another idea would be to visit a camera store.
