Not only did we have the RACS (never let Unigate darken the doorstep)=20
deliver the milk, there was also Clark's the bakers with his large wicker=20
basket and fantastically hot (as in spicy) ginger cake (all in electric=20
vehicles).

I once saw a milk float (Express Dairies IIRC) have a disagreement with a=20
Volvo (circa 1970's) on my way to school. The milk float came off worse.
