If it does not work under 64bit Vista, then it is probably because of
driver issues. In that case, it will not work under 64bit Windows 7
either. In terms of kernel driver model, Windows 7 is very similar to
Windows Vista.

If you have doubt about the documentation (which is quite recent
actually: 5/17/2010), you can raise a ticket with support.microchip.com
to seek clarification.
