Its interesting that they are piggy-backing onto a recognized and=20 legitimate service. I'm speaking of , of course. Its a service from a US company called "3am Labs" and they offer a=20 number of remote-access services. I've been using both the free and=20 paid-for versions of their remote access service (LogMeIn and LogMeIn=20 Pro) for about 5 years now and I love it. FWIW - the free service allows you to have complete remote control=20 functionality of any Window-based PCs that you desire. The paid-for=20 service adds things like file-transfer and other services that I=20 don't remember (and don't use). The file-transfer function is nice,=20 though. I run the Pro version on two computers and the free version=20 on 4 more machines, including one at home. They also offer a companion program called "LogMeIn Ignition" which=20 is a little app that makes logging into and controlling your machines=20 even faster and easier than using the standard method with web=20 browsers. I carry it on a key-fob USB drive as well has having it=20 installed on my laptops. I'm mentioning this because many of us out there might not recognize=20 that is in fact legitimate. dwayne --=20 Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax www.trinity-electronics.com Custom Electronics Design and Manufacturing --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
