I'm sure I have made silly mistakes. But I don't think I'd try to make a=20

  Which seems to be suggesting "watch out for using wrong tools". It was=20
their bootloader design that was wrong, not using Hyperterminal.

Poor example for what the article claimed to be trying to prove.
