I dunno.  I've had a lot of NiMH cells that seem to become completely =20
dead and unchargeable after having sat around for a while (say, 1 =20
year.)  Li-ion cells that have been sitting around for the same time =20
period may lost capacity, but they typically STILL HAVE CHARGE as well =20
as accepting new charge.
