I can't figure out how much "more than one" of anything costs, since =20
they have that "unlikely cost plus ridiculous shipping" model for "one."

DMX512 handles up to 512 channels; maybe enough for 4000 LEDs, maybe =20
not (is each LED one channel, or  3 (RGB) or 1/8th (on/off instead of =20
brightness controllable.)  A linux computer could address multiple DMX =20
controllers, of course...
